April 23, 2006 - ALEAFA Project Team Kick-Off Meeting

April to October, 2006 - ALEAFA Project Team gathered community input, developed the concept of the Saint Edward Environmental Learning Center (SEELC), and wrote the proposal for the SEELC

October 4, 2006 - Proposal for the Saint Edward Environmental Learning Center submitted to WA State Parks and Recreation Commission (WSPRC)

November 21, 2006 - SEELC Project Team received notification that the SEELC had been approved in concept by WSPRC Director, Rex Derr

January 20, 2007 - SEELC Project Team Design Session

February 8 and 10, 2007 - Public meetings held to give input on Advisory Committee's recommendations for the comprehensive management plan for Saint Edward State Park

February 26, 2007 - SEELC Public Design Session - 7 to 8:30 pm in the gym meeting room at Saint Edward State Park. Everyone is welcome to attend.

March 8, 2007 - Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (WSPRC) meeting in Castle Rock beginning at 9 am during which the Commision will consider recommendations for the Management Plan of Saint Edward State Park. Public comments accepted shortly after 9 am. Meeting address: Mount Saint Helens Visitor Center, 3029 Spirit Lake Highway, Castle Rock, WA 98611

March 24, 2007 - SEELC Public Design Sessin - 9 to 11 am in the Grand Dining Hall at Saint Edward State Park. Everyone is welcome to attend.

April 26, 2007 - Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (WSPRC) meeting in Quincy during which the Commission will decide what recommendations to make to the WSPRC Director Rex Derr regarding the Management Plan of Saint Edward State Park. Public comments accepted shortly after 9 am. Meeting address: Cave B Inn, 344 Silica Road NW, Quincy, WA 98848.

May, 2007 - WSPRC Director expected to approve Saint Edward State Park Management Plan. Once approved, the WSPRC will put out a request for proposals and will accept additional proposals for the use of the seminary building at Saint Edward State Park for 60 days.

May 5, 2007 - SEELC Public Design Sessin - 9 to 11 am in the Community Room at the Church of the Redeemer 6211 NE 182nd in Kenmore. Everyone is welcome to attend.

June 20, 2007 - SEELC Project Team Celebration Potluck and Meeting - 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the Gym Meeting Room at Saint Edward State Park

June 25, 2007 SEELC Grant Writing Subteam Kick–off meeting 6:30 to 9 pm

June 26/27, 2007 Sustainability Conference at Cedar River Watershed Education Center

July 11, 2007 ALEAFA High School Subteam Design Meeting 6 to 9 pm

July 25, 2007 General SEELC meeting 7 to 9 pm at Saint Edward State Park

July 27, 2007 and 28th SEELC Garage Sale 9 am to 3 pm

August 10, 2007 SEELC Project Team trip to Islandwood

August 11, 2007 Kenmore Summerfest 11am to 4 pm at Inglemoor High School

October 11, 2007 SEELC granted federal tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
