We covered the playground with new wood chips last year, now it's time to reseal all of the wood. Please join us on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10 am to 2 pm. to help reseal the playground with linseed oil. Come for one hour or come for all four. All ages are welcome. We'll have gloves and paintbrushes for you. Bring your lunch and water and wear old clothes and help protect our playground for many years to come. - FOR KIDS!
The Saint Edward Environmental Learning Center (SEELC) is an all-volunteer grassroots community 501C3 non-profit organization begun in 2006 by a small group of citizens dedicated to helping children and families in our community come to know and appreciate the natural world in a deeper way. Wild Wednesdays in the Park was launched in 2008 and each summer since then, children and families have come to Saint Edward State Park each Wednesday in July and August to explore many natural wonders such as owls, trees, clouds, and bats. And, we also care for the playground at Saint Edward State Park by coordinating the annual playground maintenance day. Come join us!
